Gloria
Regalbuto Bentley was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and has designed and implemented corporate learning and development
functions which are highly integrated with other people management systems
and are focused on developing human capacity in support of strategic plans.
An
experienced manager of complex systems, Gloria is proficient in
instructional design and state of the art learning and performance
technologies. She has managed multi-million dollar budgets while adding
significantly to the bottom line through cost efficiencies and loss
reductions. Her multi-industry experience encompasses retail, banking,
manufacturing, research & development, consulting, and healthcare.
Gloria was
the National President of the American Society for Training and Development
(ASTD) in 1991 and has served on both its Governing Board and Board of
Directors. She received the Gordon Bliss Memorial Award in 1995 for
lifetime contribution to the field, her employer and her community.
Her work has
been recognized over the years: While Gloria served as President of
Seafirst University, Seafirst Bank received an EVE award from from the US
Department of Labor for Exemplary Voluntary Efforts to ensure broad-based
employee access to learning opportunities. The leadership curriculum
she developed for the Ohio Principals Leadership Academy, now adopted by
Cleveland State University, received recognition as on e of six best
practices in the country by the US Department of Education. |
